The event: Friends Of The Earth - The Big Ask Live
This gig, which is one of several being held across the UK over the course of a couple of months, aims to raise awareness of the Friends Of The Earth climate change campaign The Big Ask. The focus is squarely on up-and-coming Welsh bands, the bill consisting of the seriously promising Crosbi (Lamacq faves who've played with Happy Mondays and at Clint Boon's wedding), Camera (whose recent 'Out On The Water' video has been nominated in the public choice category for the British Animation Awards) and Halflight (who have been labelled "a new jewel in the crown of Welsh music"). It's £7.50 a head, so get yer arse down there.
